Among many traditional industries, packaging industry is known as "sunrise industry which never ends". In fact, this statement is also very reasonable, in which the pharmaceutical packaging industry is the most important part of the packaging industry. Nowadays, the gross domestic product of the pharmaceutical packaging industry has accounted for more than 10% of the total national packaging industry, and the growth rate is very fast. However, we need to pay attention to the fact that the pharmaceutical packaging industry in China started relatively late, far behind the level of developed countries.

Pharmaceutical packaging industry refers to the packaging materials and containers that are in direct contact with medicines. Pharmaceutical packaging industry is an integral part of the production, circulation and use of medicines. According to different materials, it can be divided into five categories: medicinal glass, metal packaging materials, medicinal gelatin products, rubber, plastics (containers, sheets, films) and their composite sheets.
